Our brand name was inspired from our farm being situated in Muallim, Perak. Additionally, the word “Muallim” is an Arabic word for “teacher”. Fitting to our company intention in becoming the center of excellence for aquaponic in Malaysia.
Tilapia is one of the most raised fish species in aquaponics systems because of their hardy nature. They can survive wider ranges of water pH, temperature, level of ammonia than many other fish species.
Despite its color, it shares the same exact characteristics of red tilapia. As compared to red tilapia, black tilapia are in high demand overseas typically Japan, South Korea, and middle east.
Omega-3 fatty acids are well known to be healthful for the human consumer over fatty acids that are saturated (SFA), monounsaturated (MUFA) or omega-6, which has promoted the jade perch’s healthy image.
It contains important nutrients such as vitamin C, B vitamins and phytonutrients (tannin, polyphenol, flavonoids). Our product will be in dried and powder form for export market to middle east and Europe.
